Durable, stylish and reliable, the Drive XS features a strong yet lightweight aluminium frame which weighs under 9 kg in carrying format, making it ideal for transporting and storing. The innovative folding mechanism, half-folding backrest, quick release footrest, removable arms, and self-propelling rear wheels also make it an excellent space saver.

Flip-up armrests enable easy side transfers while the comfortable and supportive footrests conveniently swing aside to allow transfers on and off the chair. Offering superb function, the padded armrests are also specially designed to provide extra comfort while allowing unhindered access to work desks and other similar surfaces.

Comfort has been considered to the extreme on the Drive XS, with deluxe seat and back cushions as well as an adjustable padded tension backrest supplied as standard. The chair is also fitted with reflectors, for high outdoor visibility, and additional safety at dusk or after dark.

Durable, puncture-proof Polythene (PU) tyres offer superb stability, a smooth ride and require minimal maintenance. The rear wheels can also be adjusted into different positions, while rear stepper tubes complete with height-adjustable, anti-tip wheels, allow safe mounting onto curbs by both independent users or carers/attendants. What’s more, the Drive XS Wheelchair has even been crash tested and shown to provide additional safety when transported in a vehicle.
