What’s more, the surface of the seating specially moulds around the body, helping to improve circulation and reduce pressure removing the need for any extra posture support cushions.

The chair has a lightweight (11.3kg) aluminium construction and is able to fold literally seconds to a compact, easily-storable size, without any need to detach. The footrests and backrests fold completely flat against the frame, safely locking away. Despite it’s light weight, the chair is available in 16' and 18' (40 and 45cm) seat widths and can offer day-long comfort for users weighting up to 21 stone (135kg).

Widely spaced push handles promote the correct stance for total control when pushing, while puncture-proof tyres and attendant-controlled brakes add to the already impressive specification of this wheelchair. The Strongback Wheelchair is also compatible with all TGA Powerpacks.
