Dual motors allow independent operation of the legrest and backrest, giving you far more flexible support options. For example, you can raise the footrest while positioning the backrest upright to watch TV. There’s even a special ‘Snooze’ position perfect for those mid-afternoon naps!
The motors provide exceptionally smooth and quiet operation and are activated using an easy-to-operate four button handset. No fiddly buttons or confusing settings to worry about. Your hand controller also features an integrated safety key to prevent any accidental movement or entrapment, while two handy side pockets on the chair provides easy storage.
The Memphis Riser Recliner carefully rises and tilt users to their feet, making this chair particularly ideal for individuals who find it difficult sitting down or standing up due to restricted mobility, such as those with Arthritis, MS, Rheumatism and circulation issues. The Memphis can comfortably seat user weights of up to 150kg (23st) and is also available in a Petite size allowing a proportional fit for people 1.7m (5’6') tall or under.
In the event of a power failure, the built-in fail safe battery back-up system will enable your chair to be raised and lowered as required. The chair also meets all relevant fire retardancy standards.
