Nylon seating and full-length armrests with upholstered arm pads provide comfortable support and are also quick and easy to clean.
The Drive Lightweight Wheelchair also comes with a height-adjustable footrest which users can adjust into one of 5 positions for optimal comfort and support. The footrest can also be swung to the side to make getting in and out of the chair more comfortable. Durable, puncture-proof front wheels and grey pneumatic tyres ensure a smooth, stable ride, while rear stepper tubes allow carers or attendants to climb curbs safely if transporting.
The tyres also feature an ergonomic hand rim allowing active users to transport themselves with greater ease if using independently. The addition of a secure lap belt ensures extra safety while in motion, while cable brakes on the rear handles allow instant access for carers or attendants to reduce speed if necessary, and also enable the brakes to be locked for parking.
When not in use, the Drive Lightweight chair folds up easily and also features a half-folding backrest, quick-release footrests and rear wheels for simple storage and convenient transportation in and out of the boot.
