Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the S1 Wheelchair is robust and durable, yet also lightweight and easily foldable enabling compact storage and simple transportation.
The S1 Self-Propel Wheelchair features a robust steel frame, strong 61cm (24") composite mag rear wheels while the transit model is fitted with 32cm (12.5") rear wheels to aid manoeuvrability for the attendant. Rear stepper tubes also assist the attendant with the safe mounting of curbs while parking brakes on the rear wheels are both user and attendant accessible to ensure further safety.
All self propel models come with a standard heel strap offering foot support and the transit models are fitted with a standard calf strap for leg support. The plastic footrests are easily adjustable and can be swung aside to facilitate transfers or removed for easy storage and transportation.
All vinyl upholstery is wipe clean for easy maintenance and solid puncture-proof polyurethane (PU) tyres also make this a low maintenance choice.
