8mph Mobility Scooters
An 8mph scooter travels at the maximum legal speed a scooter can go. 8mph is two times faster than walking at a quick pace, meaning you can take your scooter on both pavements and roads. These models provide a greater level of independence, meaning you can travel further, thanks to a high-powered motor.
Class 3 Mobility Scooters
These models are the largest mobility scooter on the market – they have more legroom and come with some features that resemble a small car – lights on the front and back, plus fitted wing mirrors, so you can see behind you for safety. They generally come with a chargeable battery.
Heavy Duty Mobility Scooters
A heavy duty scooter has the highest weight capacity and come with full suspension and larger seats designed for maximum comfort. They are built to allow for more legroom, with a wider and longer floorboard than traditional models. Heavy duty mobility scooters are available in class 3 brands and operate quietly and smoothly.
